We collect information to operate effectively and provide the best experience. We may collect:
Personal Information
- Name, email address, company name, phone number
- Login credentials and account profile details
- Billing and payment details (if applicable)
Usage Data
- Pages visited, actions taken, time on site, and browser/device type
- IP address, geolocation (where allowed), and session data
Customer Data
- When you use Artemis to generate proposals, we collect system design data, property addresses, utility data, and any financing selections made.
Communications
- If you contact us or participate in surveys or demos, we may store your messages, feedback, and contact details.
Artie AI Assistant Data
- When you use Artie, we collect and store your prompts, Artie’s responses, feedback, actions requested or performed, tool inputs and outputs, and files, images, or documents you provide. Artie may also process relevant information from your Artemis account and projects, including customer, property, utility, design, pricing, financing, and proposal information. We use this information to operate Artie, maintain conversation history, execute your requests, provide support, monitor security and performance, troubleshoot problems, and evaluate and improve Artie. Authorized Artemis personnel may review conversations and attachments for these purposes. We disclose this information to service providers supporting artificial-intelligence processing, hosting, analytics, monitoring, messaging, and customer support.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and improve the Artemis platform and services
- Personalize your user experience
- Enable proposal generation, design previews, and financing comparisons
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Communicate with you about updates, support, and offers
- Monitor system performance, detect fraud, and enforce our terms
- Share information with financing partners, lenders, utilities, manufacturers, and other integrated service providers to facilitate financing, underwriting, compliance, fraud prevention, product functionality, and transaction processing.
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:
- Trusted service providers who help operate Artemis (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment processors)
- Financing partners (e.g., Sungage, GoodLeap) when proposals include financing options
- Legal authorities if required by law or to protect our rights and users
We may share aggregated or anonymized data for research, marketing, or benchmarking purposes — but this cannot be used to identify individuals or companies.
Mobile numbers and text message consent are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes (see Section 4).
4. Text Messages (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, for example by submitting a demo request form, booking a demo, or checking the SMS consent box on one of our forms, Artemis may send you text messages, including messages sent using automated technology:
- Appointment texts: confirmations, reminders and links to reschedule a demo or meeting you booked.
- Follow-up texts: messages about your demo request, for example if you requested a demo but didn't book a time, or if you canceled or missed a scheduled meeting.
- Marketing texts: offers and updates about Artemis, if you agreed to receive them.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. You can also email privacy@artemis.solar. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We use your mobile number only to send these messages. We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or text message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers that deliver our messages receive your number only to send them.
5. Data Security
We implement technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. While no system is 100% secure, we follow industry best practices to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us (see Section 10).
